Travel Journal of my Time in Japan December 31, 2002 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!I'm in Tokyo, getting ready to celebrate the new year in a few hours. As I type this, most of you are still sleeping. Your midnight on New Year's Eve will be my 3pm on New Year's Day. I will be on a bullet train headed for Hiroshima.
